Saying Farewell To Our Summer Interns

This Summer, our team here at Grizzly Salesforce was blessed to work with several interns who made a profound impact on our organization. As they prepare to return to school next week, we wanted to take some time and sit down with 2 whose influence goes far beyond their 3 months with us. Introducing Charita Glover and Terence Green Jr!

Charita and Terence, tell us a little about yourself!

C: Ok! I’m originally from Memphis and currently attend Austin Pea State University in Nashville studying Nursing! My friend Haven worked with the company and personally recommended me so I came into the company this Summer excited to work with my friend and learn some new skills.

T: I’m from Southhaven, Mississippi and am an upcoming Senior at Mississippi State studying Business Administration. I went online looking for marketing internships and quickly found Grizzly Salesforce.

What did you guys both notice upon working here at Grizzly Salesforce?

C: I noticed that I was really scared and nervous to try something new and I lacked confidence, yet the team understood I was learning at my own rate and gave me the time and training to do just that.

T: I immediately noticed the family environment and the challenging atmosphere that helped everyone improve professionally.

What is the biggest lesson you both learned in your time here?

C: I learned how to grate my mindset and learn how to mentally overcome any hurdle thrown my way. I feel so much more confident in myself after my time here.
T: I learned that I have to work even harder to get what I want and I’ll only get out what I put in.
What were both of your best memories with the company?
C: Mine was going to our client’s nationally held marketing & sales conference in Dallas, TX. I got to network with some incredible people from all around the country!
T: Mine was going on some business trips to Meridian with the team. It allowed me to form better relationships with the guys.
What advice do you have for someone interning with the company?
C: Try it out. Even if you think you’re catching on slow or it might not be a great fit, you’re going to learn something.
T: Be patient. Nothing will come overnight; give it time! Some things are a process.
What business reads or entrepreneurs would you tell others to read?
C: I recommend Think & Grow Rich and anything written by Thomas Edison.
T: I love Grant Cardone & Jordan Belfort. Listen to them speak and following their social media has been really influential for me.
Last question – any special shout-outs to the team?!
C: Yes! I owe Fig so much gratitude. He is an amazing leader and really took me under his wing. Also, John and Terence, my fellow intern, helped me out considerably!
T: Fig was crucial to my development and I owe Will and Johnathan a lot too!
Charita and Terence, you two are so mature and entrepreneurial for your age and we are so fortunate to have had you as a part of our team. We look forward to hearing about your successes at school and having you guys as a part of our team after graduation!
